87: 2016 Did Not Suck
You can look back on 2016 as the BEST year or the WORST year.\xa0If you choose to look back on it as the BEST year, you get to own every amazing experience you had \u2013 the moments when you pushed your limits, reached a new high, felt magic, saw beauty, learned something new, had a shift in perspective, totally rocked a challenge, modeled strength to your kid(s), and felt power in your core being.\xa0\n\xa0\nIf you choose to look at 2016 as the WORST year (as I see a lot of people doing on social media), you negate and dismiss everything above.\xa0You walk away from an entire year of your life in defeat, without power.\xa0\n\xa0\nI get it \u2013 2016 threw us for a loop.\xa0A big effing loop.\xa0I\u2019m right there with you.\xa0My year did not go as planned.\xa0I\u2019m not pregnant right now.\xa0Our next president will not embody a single value of mine.\xa0I see pain and suffering at every turn, nationally and internationally.\xa0\n\xa0\nBUT \u2013 I did a lot of great things this year.\xa0So did you.\xa0I grew this year.\xa0So did you.\xa0I found silver linings that I never even thought to look for.\xa0You can too.\xa0I am better for 2016.\xa0So are you.\xa0\n\xa0\nLet\u2019s celebrate everything 2016 was to us.\xa0Let\u2019s have a freakin' party.\xa0Let\u2019s own the heck out of our wins.\xa0I deserve that.\xa0You deserve that.\xa0\n\xa0\nCheers to a BIG year of challenges and growth and newfound strength & pride.\xa0Let\u2019s carry all of this forward into 2017, shall we?\xa0We ROCK.\xa0Every damn day.\xa0Don\u2019t let anyone tell you otherwise.\xa0\n\xa0\nTune in to hear my biggest wins of the year, in spite of some of the biggest losses of my life.\xa0\n\xa0\nLearn more about your ad choices.
