37: You Do You
I knew it would happen eventually\u2026 I received an email with some \u201cconstructive criticism\u201d about the podcast.\xa0It was kind of funny, as the \u201cgiver\u201d told me she wasn\u2019t going to listen to this podcast anymore, BUT she thought I might want to change my show to be more to her liking in the future.\xa0\n\xa0\nUmmmm, why????\n\xa0\nAt any rate, I\u2019m not going to change my colors for anyone.\xa0I don\u2019t aim to please everyone\u2026 Although, I did do that for over 30 years of my life.\xa0\n\xa0\nYou don\u2019t have to like me.\xa0I\u2019m good.\xa0I have plenty of people who make my life great.\xa0In fact, those are the only kinds of people I\u2019m looking to share my life experience with now \u2013 those who want to live big and be themselves, not someone else\u2019s version of them.\n\xa0\nSo, I\u2019ll do me.\xa0You do you.\xa0\n\xa0\nWhile I\u2019m busy over here doing me, I\u2019m attracting amazing women and moms who want to grow and reach and expand their boundaries.\xa0It\u2019s so cool.\xa0It\u2019s so validating.\xa0It\u2019s so life giving \u2013 and life honoring.\xa0I really appreciate all that.\xa0\n\xa0\nI certainly can\u2019t risk pleasing everyone or changing my ways to please this listener, in particular, as that would compromise my mission.\xa0That would compromise ME.\xa0\n\xa0\nSo Imma do me.\xa0If you don\u2019t like me, that\u2019s cool.\xa0The good news is there are a lot of rad women out there.
