I took a serious vow 10 weeks ago.\nI vowed to embrace adventure over chaos for the summer.\xa0\nI embraced this mission with all my heart.\xa0\nI had a strategic plan.\xa0\nI had a support crew.\nI had hope.\nAnd even with all that, this mission was HARD.\xa0\nThere is no denying that there were moments of magic this summer.\xa0There were plenty of those.\xa0And for that, I\u2019m beyond grateful.\xa0\nBut I\u2019m ending this season exhausted and in need of rest and reflection to figure out how I can do better next year.\xa0\nEven in the face of fatigue, there were some valuable takeaways from my \u201cadventure over chaos\u201d mission.\xa0\nI learned:\n\nI can be wildly productive in short stints of time if that\u2019s all I have\n\nI can keep my business growing outside of the structure and routine I typically thrive in\n\nI can ask for help and everyone will immediately lean in to help me\n\nI can compartmentalize work and play more than I thought I could (barely, lol)\n\nMy simple routines keep me grounded, even in chaos (morning practice and workouts, mainly)\n\nIn the absence of full days to myself, small blocks of restorative time make a big difference\n\nI\u2019m not as immune to mom guilt as I thought I was\n\nListen in to this full episode if you\u2019re also recovering from a season of overwhelm OR approaching a season of overwhelm.\xa0There are some powerful lessons shared that will help you through the hustle!\nLinks mentioned:\nShameless Mom Con 2020 tickets are available!!
