Best day of my life! Six weeks on the sideline! Woot!\n\nAlways be aware of your goal when you exercise\u2014fat loss, weight loss, stress relief, movement\n\nDetermine the type of exercise\u2014fat loss or weight loss: safe weight strength training, interval training\n\nGeneral health\u2014walking and running at a low to moderate pace. Just get your heart rate going.\n\nStress relief\u2014find something to zone out! Walk, run, hiking, yoga etc.\n\nEnjoyment of movement\u2014sports, clubs or outdoor activities\n\nSchedule your exercise! If you don\u2019t you will negotiate your way out of it!\n\nAccountability can be essential. Do what you have to do to make yourself do it.\n\nEffective and efficient. Exercising 3 days a week is a good start.\n\nFocus on afterglow when you don\u2019t want to do your exercises.\n\nDo things on a regular basis. Be a good model.
