If you\u2019re marketing how awesome you are, you\u2019re doing it all wrong. Clients don\u2019t care about YOU! \n\nYes, they want someone professional. They want someone successful. They want to work with someone who is going to help them. \n\nBut at the end of the day, they don\u2019t give a crap about you!\n\nYou\u2019re there to guide them through the process of being the hero of their own story. But they care most about how you will guide them in their story.\n\n\nIf you\u2019re marketing yourself and how great you are, you\u2019re doing it all wrong!\n\n\nInstead of marketing yourself, talk about the stories of clients you have helped.\n\n\nMy dad always taught me, \u201cdo the right thing for your clients and the money will follow you.\u201d\n\n\nFocusing on money or your goals will make the business fall apart.\n\n\nWhen you focus on your client\u2019s best interests, your career will change.\n\n\nMake the clients the hero of the story, not you!\n\n\nMake sure that as you\u2019re selling the dream that you are selling your clients dream: not yours!
