Griselda Heppel was born in Vienna and grew up in England and Germany.
After reading English at Cambridge, Griselda worked in publishing before a move to Oxford with her husband to bring up their 4 children put her career on hold.
She took up writing seriously 10 years ago. Her first book, Ante's Inferno, won the Children's People's Book Prize, a Silver Wishing Shelf Award and was runner-up in Writing Magazine's Self-Publishing competition.
Griselda's latest book, The Tragickall History of Henry Fowst, is a dark tale of magic, mystery, demons and Faustian pacts as an Elizabethan diary comes to life.
