The inspiration for the story came during a workshop taken as part of Annie\u2019s MA, and after some time sitting on her computer hard drive, Annie decided the get the book published through Matador, the self-publishing imprint of The Troubador Publishing Group.
Annie is also the owner and manager of her own training company \u2013 IVITA Learning \u2013 so she\u2019s also managed to balance her writing with a day-job.
