I hope you'll enjoy this piece which is based on the Gregorian chant Communion for the 2nd Sunday in Advent. It is dedicated to my friend organist and harpsichordist Frank Mento.\n\nAlthough this Communion is written in the 2nd mode, to make it more colorful, I often changed and transposed the mode throughout the piece.\n\nIt's a free paraphrase of Gregorian chant. I added additional thematic passages freely in different modes as my imagination called. The pedal maintains a dialogue with the hand part.\n\nPDF score. 6 pages. Duration - 6 minutes. Intermediate level.\n\nHere is this score if you want to play it:\nhttps://secrets-of-organ-playing.myshopify.com/products/ierusalem-surge-op-53-2018-for-solo-organ-by-vidas-pinkevicius\n\nWhen you create, miracles happen!\n\nSecrets of Organ Playing - Helping Reach Your Dreams in Organ Playing: http://www.organduo.lt\n\nWould you like to know more about organ practice?
