Yes, it\u2019s so cold right now that even hardy Minneapolis is shutting down schools, but even with these few days of extreme cold, Minnesota should end up with a near \u201cnormal\u201d month thanks to weeks of unusual warmth. It was in the 70s and 80s as far north as Maryland on New Year\u2019s Day.
