#53: Choosing the right business model for your service business

Published: Jan. 7, 2020, 1 a.m.

This month we’re talking business models. It’s really important to understand what business model you have as it should be a major determinant of the business decisions you make. Your business model affects everything.

Many service-based business owners face one of these two extreme scenarios:

  1. Having no revenue - Jumping from one thing to another, being very busy marketing, yet selling little or nothing (offering one-on-one or one-to-a-few programs).
  2. Having no freedom - Working around the clock doing everything your clients' as for (offering agency-style services)

I explore how a good understanding of your business model helps you find the middle ground between being contained and having freedom and flexibility too, such that your business gives you purpose and fulfilment but is contained enough not to infiltrate your lifestyle in a chaotic manner.

Join me in exploring the various models of service-based businesses and get clear on the scaling or evolution possibilities for your business in 2020!
