#149: Why build a community now
It's so easy to get isolated running our own businesses. Add in a pandemic and we find ourselves more alone than ever.\xa0
Yes, it takes a village and I've begun to recognize how much isolation can sneak up on us, even when we don't know it's happening.
This month I realized the two important things:\xa0
- We need to separate our business challenges from our personal ones. They are not the same and require different remedies. It gets confusing when we think of them as one.\xa0
- Without intending it, I've not been doing enough networking nor masterminding which led to some ongoing burnout & confusion
This self-awareness is vital to making swift changes or even just squashing problems in the first place.\xa0
People anchor us to what's important and remind us what to do.\xa0
Communities with real mentoring are great ways to stay connected to our vision and ensure we don't stay stuck or get lost in confusion. And they are here to stay.
Right now is a perfect time to build community in and around your business. It'll help you get through harder times, all while helping them. A total win-win.\xa0
