EP 96: Halloween - The Screaming Skull of Greyfriars (W.T. Linskill 1921)
Welcome to my Halloween storytelling month. I will be telling stories that contain ghosts and spooky stuff. Nothing will be terribly gruesome, but there is a mention of murder twice in this story if you want to keep little ears away.
\nThe narrator is visiting his friend Allan de Beauchamp. Allan is the last in a long line of Beauchamps, going all the way back to a hard drinking, hard partying fellow named Neville de Beauchamp. Well, his wife dies of a broken heart and Neville becomes a monk at the St Andrews kirk. His inlaws get revenge, but his head follows and curses the whole line of Beauchamps. Listen and enjoy
