Today, the Safari heads to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to talk to Dr. Vickie Clyde and Adine Nicholson of the Wild Animal Health Fund. This is an incredibly important organization funded by the American Association of Zoo Veterinarians (AAZV) which helps to fund studies into the various medical needs of animals in captivity. Did you know that we actually don't know a ton about the subtle differences in the medical needs of species in captive care? The Wild Animal Health Fund exists to fix that!
