Leo Beattie was at the epicenter of the Detroit rock scene of the late 1960\\u2019s, early 1970\\u2019s. After leaving his parents house just a year or two prior, and narrowly missing the draft for Vietnam, his first professional job in the industry was as a roadie for the hard-hitting band, the MC5.
When opportunity knocked to join the road crew of Iggy and the Stooges, Leo took the job, and from there he would go on to work with Alice Cooper, Mitch Ryder, Procul Harum, and Robin Trower.
