Ritchie \\u201cthe amp guy\\u201d Fliegler is a notable guitarist, author, and at one time an evangelist for both Marshall Amplification and Fender Musical Instruments.

As a guitarist, he has worked with John Waite, Lou Reed, John Cale, Tom Verlaine, Johnny Copeland, and Alice Cooper. As an author on the subject of guitar his articles have appeared in several trade magazines, but he is most widely known for two phenomenal titles that every guitarist needs to own; Amps! The Other Half of Rock n Roll, and The Complete Guide to Guitar and Amp Maintenance: A Practical Manual for Every Guitar Player.

For several years he served under the famed Jim Marshall before moving over to Fender where his tenure ran from the mid-90\\u2019s through the early 2000\\u2019s.

Ritchie\\u2019s passion for the guitar and the music made by it has taken him on a journey he never could have expected, but one that he is humbled by and grateful for every day.
