Wellington pedestrians, cyclists dominate injury numbers

Wellington pedestrians and cyclists are disproportionately injured and killed on the city's roads, according to official statistics. The data from Wellington City Council shows nearly half of all serious injuries involve someone on foot or on a bike. Advocates say the figures are a wake-up call for authorities to create more, and better cycling infrastructure around the city.
