Trans-Tasman travel was close, but Australia backed out - govt

The government has confirmed officials were close to finalising a trans-Tasman bubble last month, but Australia backed out of the deal and changed its position. Talks between the two countries have been ongoing for months but we're still no closer to quarantine travel across the ditch. And in other bubble news, Cook Islands Prime Minister Mark Brown is set to visit New Zealand next week, but has today been revealed to be facing fraud charges.
