Domestic abuse escape tool introduced to Auckland Transport website
Auckland Transport is the latest organisation to add a feature to its website which can help victims of domestic abuse escape. Women's Refuge says technology is increasingly being used as a way to control women in abusive relationships. But at the same time, a small icon on household websites gives access to a helpline and resources without leaving a trace in the browser history. Corin Dann spoke to Women's Refuge chief executive Dr Ang Jury.
