Deportation of 15-year-old "unconscionable" - lawyer
An Australian lawyer has described the deportation of a 15-year-old New Zealander as unconscionable. Yesterday it was revealed the teenager was in managed isolation, after being deported on a flight from Australia last week - the reasons for which are still not public. It has put yet more strain on the trans-Tasman relationship The national criminal justice spokesman at the Australian Lawyers Alliance, Greg Barns, spoke to Māni Dunlop.
