Churches in New Zealand at the centre of historical abuse claims are being given their chance to respond to evidence from abuse survivors. The Abuse in Care Royal Commission is holding a two week public hearing starting today in Auckland. It's the second part of the faith-based redress hearing and follows on from late last year when survivors shared their personal experiences of being abused. Reporter, Andrew McRae will be covering the hearing and compiled this report.
