It starts with house and UK garage then works into Breaks and 2 Step as the clock winds past midnight.” – DJ Tektite Tektite (Vitamin B / Blackbird Squadron, NYC) got his start in the 90's with UK Hardcore and Drum n' Bass, but over the years fell in love with Breakbeats and eased back on the tempo into a blend of Breaks, UKG and 2 Step Garage. In the mid 2000's he migrated from San Francisco to the East Coast and ended up in New York City. In 2008 he founded Vitamin B, NYC's longest running and biggest Breakbeat party. Rapidly approaching it's five year anniversary, Vitamin B is committed to bringing the world's best Breakbeat artists to Brooklyn every month.
