Well, first you scream with excitement, then you pause, then you agonize over track selection.\n\nIt's been a little over 10 years ago now since I experienced my first Breakfast of Champions at Kelly's Mission Rock in San Francisco. I was a socially awkward software engineer holed up in a cubicle for 10 years at a successful startup company when a fellow engineer said "Hey, there's this dance party that happens on New Year's Day. It's a thing. You should go." I went and I've gone every year since. If you attended BOC back in the day then you know the level of mind-blowing epic I'm hinting at. It's still epic, but back then times were very different than they are now, and so was I. To top it all off, my very first DJ gig 6 years ago was for a Space Cowboys hosted event.\n\nSo this mix is a one-shot, live recording dedicated to those moments in life.
