Myagi Live from Ghost Ship IV: The Afterlife

Space Cowboys parties are always pretty special for me - maybe its partly that I can call a chunk of the crew good friends, maybe its that the events only attract the absolute creme de la creme of deviant partiers, probably both. There is something really fun about seeing the love that goes into these events and then getting to take part in whatever fashion I can - this was my first Ghost Ship and I certainly hope it won't be my last. I was unfit to travel in august and so I missed burning man this year - a fact that really left me bummed out. Getting a chance to see some of the pieces from the Burn on Treasure Island was a real gift - I was overjoyed to see CHARON and the Dust City Diner, and the Mog sounded better than ever - certainly it was no week in the desert but it was great to feel an attachment to that experience for an evening and hear some stories and battle tales from the playa. It was a great night all round and I had a pretty epic set - I hope you like it. As per usual the majority of it is original music, and I've got to say, a big chunk of it was influenced by my times in San Francisco over the last few years. I love the bay and it's the only city I've found that feels like home even though I've never lived there - mainly thanks to the people and the crews that help make the nightlife there as vibrant and exciting as it is. Thanks to Andrea and all the Cowboys for putting on Ghost Ship - that was a blast. - Myagi For more information on Myagi visit www.myagimusic.com Photo courtesy of http://vitamindevo.com
