Clarkie feat. Joel & Homer Live from Breakfast of Champions 2012
To me, BOC is always my favorite party of the year. I always want to pull out something special for this spectacular day. Since Burning Man, I've been doing a lot of my dj gigs with the live addition of Joel Kellogg on bass and Homer Hsu on violin. In somewhat of a last minute decision, we decided to bring in the boys to have them play with me for my set on the inside main stage at 11 AM. We worked very hard in those last days of the year to come up with a set that would rock my favorite party, and I think it worked. It certainly seemed to the day of anyway with everyone going Bonkers on the dance floor. Thanks to all that came inside on that day and got our little treat - we sure as heck enjoyed it. I'm so pleased that the recording came out well too as it is very difficult when infusing the live element. It's a mix of Rock, House, Funk, & Breaks with the Soul of Joel and Homer.
