Having explored the crashed, abandoned sky ship once belonging to the Empire of the Eternal Flame, the adventurers face an issue of what to do with the conjurer Thalia after she once again tried to kill them with magic and a fire elemental. The party then heads further west into the Ka\'alban Frontier toward the Great Mother River. Meanwhile, the Kobold Konor tries to learn more about the mysterious Crystal found on the ship.
