All Quiet on the Western Front: Movie Review from the Ray Taylor Show

In “this episode Ray reviews “All Quiet on the Western Front" an epic anti-war film based on the 1929 novel of the same name by Erich Maria Remarque. Directed by Edward Berger, the film stars Felix Kammerer, Albrecht Schuch, Daniel Brühl, and more. Set in the closing days of World War I, the film follows the life of an idealistic young German soldier named Paul Bäumer and his disillusionment with war. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2022 and was released on Netflix in October of the same year. The film received positive reviews from critics for its faithfulness to the source material's anti-war message and was named one of the top five international films of 2022 by the National Board of Review.
