My consulting client was facing a tough season. None of her marketing was working. While considering the problem she was facing, it became obvious what was missing.

Since that time, I've developed a short checklist that can almost always cure marketing woes. Today I'll share the checklist.

This week's tip is once again a book, this one by my friend Joel Comm. The book is called \u201cSo, What Do YOU Do? Discovering the Genius Next Door with One Simple Question\u201d, and it features people from all walks of life who are passionate about what they do.

The goal is to inspire readers and demonstrate that it\u2019s not just the so-called \u201cgurus\u201d who have something to say.

There is tremendous value all around us if we just stop long enough to listen and discover what others are all about.

The more aware we become of what it means to be righteous through Jesus, the more we will see a renewing of life in all areas.\xa0 How we gain this awareness? By reminding ourselves of biblical truths.

If your marketing fails to produce results, chances are it's missing one of the following five \u201cmusts\u201d.\xa0 In any complete marketing system, you must have:

1. Credibility
2. Congruency
3. Connection
4. Competency
5. Consistency
