For our 15th episode we are covering one of the most controversial albums ever! That album is N.W.A's "Straight Outta Compton". This album changed the landscape for hiphop as well as music in the way that it impacts society. Matt and Brandon dive deep into the history of N.W.A and this album. All of the members came together to create a classic body of work that helped jumpstart the careers of Easy-E, Ice Cube, and Dr. Dre. Even thought this album was labeled as "gangster rap", there's so much more depth and content in the songs that don't merit that label. We are excited for you to hear our rap thoughts on "Straight Outta Compton!
