Hysteric: The 'Shine A Light On' Mix
Ah, who doesn't love the sweet sweet sound of Italo music on a Wednesday afternoon? Hysteric is the man behind one of Australia's finest musical outputs, Mothball Records. Over the years they have been responsible for reissuing some of the finest forgotten rarities from Italo history: this year saw them re-release the highly sought after Plustwo EP.\n\nHysteric himself has amassed a fearsome reputation as a disc jockey and has released music on labels such as Germany's Public Possession, Ostra Discos and Mysidian. His sets are orientated towards the dancefloor without compromise: euphoric, energetic and electronically mesmerizing they see him cover a range of genres and styles as he presents subtle hidden gems alongside party classics. The tail end of this month will see him kickstart an international tour which spans across Europe, Israel and the UK. Thus we asked him to contribute to our ever expansive mix series, and boy did he deliver.
