In early May, CMS released the inpatient prospective payment system proposed rule for fiscal year 2023. In this year\u2019s proposal CMS introduced several policies aimed at addressing health equity. Among those is a data collection condition that would require a provider to attest that their organization is capturing SDOH measures.
