He passed his graduation from Allahabad University and his graduation from Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh. He has done D-Phil from Allahabad University itself. Degree of Prof. Received under the direction of Pt. Sahitya Kumar Nahar ji. He got success in music competitions organized by institutions like Uttar Pradesh Sangeet Natak Akademi, Swar Sadhana Samiti Mumbai, Maharishi Gandharva Veda Vidyapeeth Noida, etc. He was invited by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, and Directorate of Culture, Uttar Pradesh. Also selected for scholarships by the government. He has been selected for Junior Research Fellowship by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. He received the title of 'Talamani' by Mumbai's prestigious institution 'Sur Shringaar Sansad'. He is the selected artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan. He is an accomplished artist of both independent playing and accompaniment. He has earned fame by providing the successful association with many national and international artists of the country. Presently he is serving in the Department of Music and Performing Arts of Allahabad University.
