TRAPPIST-1 and other stories

At the end of\xa0last month, there was a lot of interest in the discovery of seven roughly Earth-sized planets in the TRAPPIST-1 system. One month on, Chris North and Edward Gomez discuss the implications of this discovery. We also get an update from the\xa0Amaury Triaud,\xa0of the University of Cambridge, about TRAPPIST and its successor, SPECULOOS.\nHere in our own Solar System, there\u2019s the discovery of a cometary landslide from Rosetta, a milestone in wheel-wear on the Mars Curiosity Rover, and an update on some of Saturn\u2019s darker\xa0rings from Japan.
