Religious leaders address urgent questions such as to what extent government should regulate or intervene in the activities of religious organizations or individual members of diverse religious groups to promote civic harmony. At a time when the nation is sharply divided politically and many political decisions are being influenced by issues of morality and faith, the importance of tolerance as a guiding principle becomes more critical. These and other issues governing religious tolerance are addressed by the following panelists: Rev. Dr. Bob Edgar, General Secretary, National Council of Churches; Rabbi Jonathan Stein, Senior Rabbi, Temple Shaaray Tefila; and Chaplain James J. Yee, Former Chaplain, Guantanamo Bay.\\n
