Fonterra Dairies of New Zealand is one of the largest milk and dairy products producers in the world. Cooperatively owned by over 11,000 dairy farmers, they have over 20 processing plants on three continents, with 25 different control systems, and a data collection and processing headache. In this podcast, Walt Boyes interviews Alice Baucke, the advanced process control team lead about how they collect and use this huge amount of disparate data. This podcast is a companion to the article "Outstanding in Their Field" in the September 2007 issue of Control.
