The experimental fourth album by Kanye West was a marked departure from his previous rap records. Released in 2008 and utilizing the Roland TR-808, auto-tuned vocals, and heretofore unseen experimentation from West, this album influenced many future (and established) artists and has left a legacy in the hip-hop and R&B community and so far beyond.
