Hi everyone!

This episode I talk to Rhona Foulis, who is an old friend of mine. Rhona left acting to pursue a career in casting and then TV Production. She’s been an integral part in getting award winning shows like The Man in The High Castle and Medici to our screens. We talk about all the different sections of the industry she’s worked in, so this is a little longer than usual but full of great information.

We talk about:

Leaving education and joining the industry.

Drama School and being an actor.

The world of casting for theatre, radio and TV, as well as political castings.

The lack of diversity in British theatre and her move to TV.

Life as a producer and working for the legendary Frank Spotnitz at Big Light, both in the UK and France on huge TV shows.

What’s next for Rhona including her upcoming podcast Turning Point.

Apologies for any of the slight sound issues, due to Covid 19, this was recorded over Zoom.

Thanks as always for the questions we received through the socials, this time from Raluca Bogdan and Roberto Farina.
