In this PLANT CEO episode we speak with Nir Goldstein, Managing Director of The Good Food Institute (GFI) Israel. We speak about the new \u2018Israel State of Alternative Protein Innovation Report 2021\u2019 that was recently released. Globally in this past decade Alternative Protein companies have received $6bn in investment and Israel has always been an innovation hub for R&D. There are many startups that are creating innovations to create alternative proteins using, plant based approaches, fermentation and cultured meat using 3D printing for example. The Israel Innovation Authority the Government Fund has also invested in more than 7 companies. We take a deep dive into some of the startups and talk about the companies that have already gone public.
