PLANT CEO #31: Climate crisis & animals at the heart of S CAP funding decisions
In this episode we speak with both Kunal Sethi, Managing Partner and Alexandra Clark, General Partner of S CAP. The climate crisis and animals is at the heart of their decision making in the choice of companies in which to invest in. Those companies being later stage series B that are plant-based, cellular agriculture or ingredient tech firms. By focusing on institutional investors they have already reached their investment goal within 6 months of launching. In order to invest at the earlier seed stage companies they have now launched 'Prithvi' which means Mother Earth in Sanskrit. Where they are aiming to attract private/angel investors with their rolling contract fund by working with the AngelList platform.
