Spirou for Beginners

If you've never read a Spirou comic before, I have a suggestion for where to start. And it's not a book from 60 years ago. It's not even a book from the Andre Franquin glory years, nor the long run from Tome and Janry in the 80s and 90s. "Spirou in Berlin" is a one-off book set at the end of the Cold War. And despite that little bit of political connection to a specific time frame, Flix's story and art make a timeless and isolated tale that can be enjoyed on its own while introducing you to all the main characters of the series: Spirou, Fantasio, and the Count, first and foremost.
