In addition to practicing full time, David\xa0provides education and commentary on sports and exercise injuries.

He delivers keynote presentations and workshops to business and healthcare organizations. He writes a regular sports medicine column for the daily Charleston newspaper, The Post and Courier. It\u2019s one of the most-read columns in the newspaper.

His book, That's Gotta Hurt: The Injuries That Changed Sports Forever, was published in June 2017 and is available in bookstores everywhere.
