Hope you had the best thanksgiving. Shout out to all the beautiful people who organized the 2019 great family gathering where we fed 5000 homeless. Kudos to Pastor Lonnie Herndon from the Church Of Christian Compassion, Brahin Ahmaddiya From Compassion CDC and The Event Coordinator and Heart Of The Event Bonnie Earle who in addition to being a member of Pastor Herndon's Church works at Keystone first - a major sponsor of the event - it was beautiful and a reminder of the blessings in our lives and the power of kindness and generosity.

As cardiovascular disease continues to be the number one killer of women, ensuring more women are at the forefront of developing science, technology, education and math (STEM) solutions has never been more imperative. The American Heart Association is offering a program to get more girls interested in STEM careers because much of the research on heart disease has been conducted by men on men and that has led to a health disparity between men and women. I spoke to Melanie Harris, COO of Communications for the School District of Philadelphia about STEM Goes Red.
