Today, we\u2019re talking about metoprolol, which is a beta-blocker.\xa0 Examples of other beta blockers are atenolol, labetalol, and propranolol.\xa0\xa0
I picked metoprolol because it has three different pronunciations.\xa0 This is the only drug name I have encountered [so far] in the USP Dictionary Online that has more than one pronunciation. \xa0
