There's still a lot of hype with cryptocurrencies, although it has dialed down for a bit these past couple of weeks since the market is not looking so good. However, I think the underlying technology, which is blockchain, is being unnoticed because of the noise that cryptocurrencies have been making recently. Get this, cryptocurrencies and crypto projects are like the Facebook, Twitter, Microsoft, Apple and Amazon of the Internet but I believe that blockchain is the new internet. All of these cryptocurrencies have their own blockchain or is being used or is within a blockchain. ~~ The amount of things that can be done inside a blockchain is countless and it's still in its early stages. Even though Bitcoin was created/founded 12 years ago, it still hasn't matured yet and has a long way to go. ~~ I hope this episode gives you an idea of what a blockchain is, what it does and what it can potentially do to make our lives, our communities and our businesses better. ~~ Disclaimer: I'm no expert when it comes to crypto and blockchain tech.
