PB PERS Spady Museum
Talked with Charlene Farrington, Exec Dir., Spady Cultural Heritage Museum. Located in Delray Beach, FL they are located in the former home of Solomon D. Spady. The museum offers a wide variety of programs to the community from exhibits, to historical bus tours, Saturday kimetic yoga, youth programs and events. This summer they have programs for children to work on publishing their own books. And on June 8th are hosting the Frog Alley Caribbean Festival along with the Juneteenth celebration. This year listeners can meet Mary Graham Grant, artist in residence, and learn some of her techniques for sewing sweet grass baskets.
