Talked with Fatima, Jeff and Lucy from the Florida Native Plant Society. They are a non-profit that is dedicated to educating/promoting the preservation, conservation and restoration of native plants in Florida. The native plants thrive better, use less water and make more sense economically. They also help restore the food chain by encouraging the butterflies, bees, insects that are a necessary part of the food chain.
