Winters. “Biggest Brother” is the story of an ordinary man who became an extraordinary hero-from Winters' childhood in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, through the war years in which his natural skill as a leader elevated him through the ranks in combat, to now, decades later, when he may finally be awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his actions on D-Day.
Larry Alexander has been a journalist and columnist for the Intelligencer Journal newspaper in Lancaster, PA for more than a decade, winning numerous awards for excellence in journalism. He grew up on the same street in the same town as Major Dick Winters, three decades later.
