Judith’s novelist client has taught her about the publishing industry concept of revenue, readers and respect; do you need to choose?
Nicola’s family have enjoyed a surprise fish & chip birthday party, and Judith’s had a busy week including a good experience with SSEN (Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks) during two power cuts.
Nicola’s manifested a new client via the podcast, and was up early interviewing the founder of Bean Ninjas. Judith shares two testimonials, one from a first session with a new client and the other from a final session with an “old” one.
Judith’s novelist client has taught her about the publishing industry concept of revenue, readers and respect; do you need to choose? Judith’s client wants respect but says “the idea is that if you focus strongly enough on one, you get all three.” J&N put this idea under scrutiny and ask if the same principles apply to business, asking the listener to consider what they want from their own creative endeavour.
