We are so excited to be kicking off Season 2 of Overexposed, with Evgeny Tchebotarev! Ev is currently the Chief Growth Officer at Skylum and had previously founded one of the world\\u2019s biggest, most renowned photography communities, 500px. 

Evgeny Tchebotarev got his first camera almost 20 years ago. In 2004, before social networking invaded all of our lives, Evgeny started a community for photographers by handwriting the code for the website during his university classes. While he is a talented photographer himself (and one of our very own Heroes), he dedicated over 14 years to helping other creatives master their craft. His efforts resulted in growing the 500px community to have currently over 15 million photographers. 

After connecting with the Skylum team while he was in Asia travelling and consulting companies, Evgeny joined Skylum as Vice President of Growth, Asia. Evgeny combined his knowledge in building strong communities and experience living in Asia to help grow the company\'s presence in the Asia-Pacific market.

We talk about how his journey of leading a young startup, how he finds purpose in his work,  and how the future of creativity is being challenged and shaped by current technologies.
