Our Miss Brooks was a hit on radio from the outset; within eight months of its launch as a regular series, the show landed several honors including four for Eve Arden. Produced by Larry Berns and written by Al Lewis (who also directed the show), Our Miss Brooks premiered on CBS on July 19th, 1948.

December 17, 1950. CBS net. Sponsored by: Colgate Toothpaste, Lustre-Creme Shampoo, Palmolive Soap. Miss Brooks is in charge of the used clothing drive for the needy. Mr. Conklin's new suit winds up as a contribution.
