b'While investigating a complaint about an oversized house, which mysteriously appeared in his neighbourhood, Ken meets the eccentric and angry owner who rather than conforming to city building codes tries to bribe Ken by granting him four wishes. At first, Ken dismisses the peculiar home owner’s suggestion as nonsense but soon learns, when a careless wish threatens to consume Leaf’s backyard greenhouse and the entire neighbourhood, that the homeowner is more than what he seems. To save Leaf’s heirloom tomatoes Ken is forced to make a carefully worded wish, but the results are not exactly as in intended.

Makeshift Stories is a proud member of the Alberta Podcast Network, powered by ATB Financial.

To listen to other great APN podcasts such as Emily Missed Out or Creative Block please head over to the Alberta Podcast Network.

This episode was brought to you by Park Power, a provider of electricity and natural gas in Alberta that offers low rates, awesome service, and profit-sharing with local charities.

CONNECT WITH US

makeshiftstories@gmail.com

SHARE THE PODCAST

You can help us out by letting your Twitter friends know about @makeshift_scifi.
